As a studio engineer, I’m known for my ongoing work with the World Folk Music Association, for whom I’ve recorded, mixed and mastered the music of such greats as Chad Mitchell Trio, Tom Paxton, Peter Yarrow & Noel “Paul” Stookey and many more. I am also considered an expert in the field of podcast production, having served for six years as a lead editor and mixer for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (Finra), as well as producing episodes for such podcasts as Trade Talks, Talmar It Up, Get Off My Cloud and more.
As a composer, my credits include nationally syndicated theme music, ad campaigns and extensive music for theatre and film. I’ve created music for such clients as The Peterson Institute, Finra, Insight Timer App., Retro Supply Co., Chicago Children’s Theatre, Piven Theatre Workshop, Northwest Children’s Theatre, Imagination Stage, and more. In addition, I am a singer-songwriter, with several recordings of my own songs, including my debut album Jesus Is My Dentist.
A live sound engineer, I’ve work regularly with such acclaimed organizations as the National Folk Festival, Lowell Folk Festival, Richmond Folk Festival, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Arts, The Fillmore, Chicago Children's Theatre, 930 Club and many more. Additionally, I have held the positions of venue manager for the MilkBoy ArtHouse and house sound engineer & assistant technical director for the historic Lisner Auditorium.
As an Educator, I am an Avid Certified Pro Tools Expert and Avid Certified Instructor and have led workshops in audio production at The George Washington University, University of Maryland, Vancouver School of Arts and Academics and Future Media Concepts.
